DESCRIPTION:
Safe-Guard® 0.5% Dewormer, Multi-species is a pelleted fenbendazole dewormer for use in beef & dairy cattles, horses, hoofed wildlife & zoo animals, swine and turkeys. This dewormer has 0.5% fenbendazole in an easy to feed pellet.

INDICATIONS:
Safe-Guard® 0.5% Dewormer, Multi-species is a broad-spectrum dewormer containing 2.27 g fenbendazole per lb for use in cattle, equine, swine, turkeys, zoo and wildlife animals.

INGREDIENTS:
Safe-Guard® 0.5% Dewormer, Multi-species contains processed grain by-products, forage products, forage roughage, grain products, calcium carbonate, fat product feed grade, salt, propionic acid, ammonium hydroxide, acetic acid, benzoic acid, sorbic acid, tartaric acid, natural and artificial flavors.

CAUTIONS:  Not for use in humans. Dairy and beef- residues warning- cattle must not be slaughtered within 13 days following last treatment. There are no known contradictions to the use of the drug in cattle. For dairy cattle, there is no milk withdrawal period. Equine- Do not use in horses intended for food. Swine- Residue warning- there is no pre-slaughter withdrawal period as Safe-Guard® 0.5% Dewormer, Multi-species can fed to day of slaughter. Growing turkeys- residue warning- there is no pre-slaughter withdrawal period as Safe-Guard® 0.5% Dewormer, Multi-species can be fed to day of slaughter. Zoo and Wildlife Animals: residue warning- do not use 14 days before or during hunting season. Animal safety: no contradictions for the use of fenbendazole in a zoo environment have been established. Administration to breeding and pregnant ruminates at 2 to 22 times the recommended dose has had no apparent adverse effect.
