DESCRIPTION:
Orchardgrass is a cool-season, long-lived, rapid growing perennial bunch-type, tall-growing, perennial grass. It is one of the most productive cool-season grasses, tolerant to shade, fairly drought resistant with moderate winter hardiness. If adequantly fertilized, production is distributed well through the growing season. Withstands both heat and drought. Needs lime on acidic soils. Adapted areas and high rainfall mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
