Dr. Naylor Blu-Kote

DESCRIPTION:
A fast-drying antiseptic wound dressing for horses and dogs effective against pus-producing bacteria, common fungus infections and ringworm. Designed for surface wounds and abrasions.

Keeping bacteria at bay can be time-consuming, but Dr. Naylor’s Blu-Kote makes it easier.

Blu-Kote is a germ-killing, fungicidal wound dressing and healing aid that works to protect animals against common infections and pus-producing bacteria. It penetrates the skin and dries quickly, reducing pus formation and drying up secretions of pox-like lesions.

For animal use:

• Treats Bumblefoot in chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs; scratches on    horses; goat pox; ringworm; wire cuts
• Useful as a marking agent for animals and in treating proud flesh in horses
• Useful after castration, on the umbilical cord to dry out the wound
• Prevents group pecking in chickens

Effective treatment of fungus, infections, ringworm, surface wounds, cuts, galls, hoof-foot and pad sores, chafes, abrasions, moist or scabby lesions, itchy fungus eczema and sores. Antiseptic, fast-drying Blu-Kote is highly effective against pus-producing bacteria and common fungus infections. Penetrates to reduce pus formation and dry up secretions of pox-like lesions.

Blu-Kote is a germicidal, fungicidal wound dressing and healing aid effective against both bacterial and fungus infections most common in skin lesions of domestic animals. Kills ringworm and fungus infections. Dries up blisters and pox-like scabby sores or lesions.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Sodium propionate, gentian violet, acriflavine, in a special base of water, urea, glycerine, isopropyl alcohol 32% by volume.

DIRECTIONS:
Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before spraying. Scrub and remove the scale and scab on ringworm before the first application. Shake well. Remove the protective cap. Hold upright. Point the nozzle opening toward the lesion and spray from a distance of 4-8 inches. Only a light application is needed. Repeat once or twice a day or as indicated until healing occurs.

PRECAUTION(s): Danger: Extremely flammable (aerosol package).
The contents are under pressure. Do not puncture. Do not store or use near heat or an open flame. Exposure to temperatures above 130°F may cause bursting. Never throw the container into a fire or incinerator. BLU-KOTE^® stains clothing.

CAUTION(s): For external veterinary use only. In case of serious burns, deep or puncture wounds, or if redness, irritation or swelling persists or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. Keep away from the eyes, mouth, nostrils, and mucous membranes. Do not spray in the eyes. Do not inhale. Do not use on cats. Prevent dogs from licking the treated area.
