DESCRIPTION:
Browntop Millet is a warm season annual used in the summer for hay, grazing, and wildlife. A leafy grass that grows from 2 to 3 feet tall producing an abundance of seed which is attractive to dove, quail, and if flooded, ducks. Makes a great food plot plant. Hay quality is good since it is leafy and fine-stemmed. Responsive to nitrogen, very tolerant to soil acidity. Hay should be cut at heading for best quality. Browntop Millet can be grown with other millets, corn, cowpeas and sunflowers.
Best for – Ducks, Doves, Quail, Turkey, Deer, Rabbits
